Design Alliance Bangladesh
was established in Dhaka Bangladesh in June of 2000 with two
civil/structural engineers. The first few years were devoted
to rigorous training and limited structural analysis and design
work. Currently with eight full time engineers and one designer,
Design Alliance has successfully completed over 30,000 hours
of structural engineering services for the oil, gas and petrochemical
industries.
The business model
is based on training and retention of skilled engineers at
relatively low operating cost in lean times and providing
outstanding engineering services in times of critical needs.
All engineers are graduates of technical universities of Bangladesh
which exclusively follow the course curriculum of US universities.
This produces graduates who are familiar with US codes and
design practices and are ready to serve the US industries.
Training at Design
Alliance starts with providing thorough familiarity with the
work process and the software used at various phases of the
process. Typically the engineers are trained on STAAD, SAP
and AutoCad from the universities. Upon joining they are provided
thorough training on Foundation3D, Shaft3D, DYNA5, MicroStation,
FrameWorks, Smart Plant Review and PDS.
Today Design Alliance engineers are uniquely skilled to take
on any project at any stage and provide outstanding service
on a very aggressive schedule.
